Assistant Food & Beverage Director

About the role

Join Mama Shelter’s vibrant hospitality team as an Assistant Food & Beverage Director. You will work closely with the F&B Director to ensure the restaurant, bar and event spaces deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Support the F&B Director in managing daily operations of all food and beverage outlets.
• Develop and monitor outlet profitability, including cost control and revenue targets.
• Participate in menu engineering, pricing strategy and product development.
• Recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff across the department.
• Act as the F&B Director’s right‑hand and assume full responsibility in their absence.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the highest standards of guest service and overall experience.

• Proven ability to drive sales without compromising brand values.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to unite and develop teams.
• Talent identification and staff development experience.
