Credit Collector (French Speaker)

About the role

Safilo is seeking a French‑speaking Credit Collector to join its Credit Area at the headquarters in Padua. The role focuses on recovering outstanding payments by contacting debtors, negotiating repayment plans and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Track and monitor outstanding debts and locate debtors.
• Create and execute debt‑collection strategies, negotiate payment deadlines and installment plans.
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints related to credit issues.
• Update account statuses and balances on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with French‑based colleagues to ensure all actions meet legal standards.

Required profile

• Native French speaker with fluent English (additional languages a plus).
• Minimum two years of experience in credit collection or a similar role.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills, and a team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
