Data Protection & Info Security Awareness Internship

About the role

Join Loacker’s Information Security Governance team as an intern focused on data protection and information security awareness. You will support the Governance Specialist and the external Data Protection Officer in maintaining GDPR compliance and driving a company‑wide security awareness program.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update privacy documentation such as the Record of Processing Activities.
• Assist in drafting and revising Data Processing Agreements.
• Create and keep privacy notices, procedures, and internal policies up to date.
• Support Data Protection Impact Assessments and privacy audits.
• Monitor privacy‑related inboxes, triage requests, and ensure timely responses.
• Help design, implement and monitor the annual information security awareness program.
• Provide first‑level support to employees on awareness measures and the digital training platform.
• Contribute to reporting on data protection and awareness activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field relevant to privacy.
• Basic understanding of information security fundamentals.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a structured working style.
• Strong analytical thinking and interest in technology.
• Fluent in Italian and good knowledge of English (German is a plus).

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of MS Office or similar productivity tools.
