English Language & Literature Teacher (Middle & High School)

About the role

The Udine International School is looking for a dynamic and flexible English Language and Literature teacher for Middle and High School students starting September 1st, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver lessons aligned with the school’s international curriculum and contribute to a vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess English language and literature lessons for middle and high school classes.
• Develop short‑, medium‑, and long‑term instructional plans in line with the school’s syllabus.
• Participate in extracurricular activities such as day trips, workshops, and interdisciplinary projects.
• Attend regular staff meetings, professional development days, and school events.

Required profile

• Native‑level English proficiency (C1 or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Education, and a valid teaching certification.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience with middle‑ and high‑school students.
• Legal right to work in Italy with appropriate documentation.

Required skills

• Strong command of English language and literature curricula.
• Ability to design engaging lesson plans and assessments.
• Experience coordinating extracurricular and interdisciplinary activities.
