Front Office Supervisor / Shift Leader

About the role

As a Front Office Supervisor / Shift Leader at Mama Shelter, you will ensure that every guest receives a warm, personalized welcome throughout their stay. You will lead the front‑office team, manage daily operations, and act as the main point of contact for customer requests and complaints.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coach front‑office staff during each shift.
• Prepare and allocate tasks to guarantee smooth shift flow.
• Control cash registers, verify accounts, and handle financial transactions.
• Respond directly to guest inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Promote hotel services, shop merchandise, restaurant offerings, and events to increase sales.
• Coordinate with the Front Office Manager and assistant, covering their duties when absent.
• Report shift outcomes and communicate important information at the end of each shift.

• Strong attention to detail and proactive anticipation of needs.
• Diplomatic communication style, able to bridge between management and team.
• Experience in upselling and driving sales without aggressive tactics.
• Commitment to confidentiality and team spirit.
• Ability to optimise occupancy and revenue targets.
