Head of Government Relations & Policy Campaigns – Italy

About the role

Airbnb is seeking a senior leader to head Government Relations and Policy Campaigns for Italy. You will shape and execute strategic engagement plans that protect and advance Airbnb’s interests with policymakers, regulators, and community stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of policy and strategic engagement experts.
• Develop and implement integrated policy strategies for priority geographies in Italy.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align policy goals with commercial objectives.
• Drive performance management, recruitment, and succession planning for the team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs, preferably within a technology or platform business.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strategic thinker capable of translating insights into actionable plans.
