About the role
The Hotel Operations Manager will lead daily operations at Hotel Carasco, a historic 1970’s Grand Dame turned modern lifestyle destination on the island of Lipari. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the property’s high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all hotel departments to ensure smooth daily workflows.
- Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction and service quality.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the hotel’s brand and goals.
- Manage, coach, and train staff across multiple areas to uphold quality standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with hotel standards, health & safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Required profile
- Strong background in Operations Management with experience overseeing hotel departments.
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and drive guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with team members, guests, and stakeholders.
- Experience in training and developing staff to achieve high service standards.
- Problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry software and operational systems is an advantage.
- Fluent Italian is mandatory.
