ICT System Specialist

About the role

The ICT System Specialist will ensure the reliability, security and performance of the IT infrastructure supporting Generali Employee Benefits. You will work on Windows‑based servers, cloud platforms and Office 365 services, providing both operational support and strategic improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, install, configure, operate and monitor Windows servers and related software.
• Maintain data and network security, including backups, disaster recovery, firewalls and monitoring.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line support to end‑users.
• Assist in designing, developing and implementing cloud architectures on Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and manage Office 365 services such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Intune and Azure AD.
• Create and roll out IT operational policies and procedures.
• Monitor system security, apply patches and updates, and respond to security incidents.
• Manage critical data backups and develop disaster recovery plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Network/System Administrator on Microsoft platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365 (Office 365, Intune, Azure AD, SharePoint, Power Automate).
• Experience with cloud environments (Google Cloud and Azure).
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell.
• Familiarity with third‑party utilities such as anti‑virus, backup and software distribution tools.
• Security‑focused, well‑organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Team‑oriented, proactive and capable of working autonomously.
