International Tax Manager – Italy

About the role

The International Tax Manager will join Midea Group’s Overseas Tax Center of Excellence (OTCOE) for the EMEA region, based in Milan. You will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, risk management, and strategy implementation for the Italian entities of the group.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and implement the Group’s global and regional tax strategy and policy in Italy.
• Monitor local and regional tax legislation, assess business impact, and provide regular tax training to internal stakeholders.
• Lead or support tax health‑check projects and tax audits, coordinating with external advisors as needed.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure tax‑efficient structuring of transactions and provide ad‑hoc tax solutions.
• Oversee tax compliance for local entities, review internal tax reporting, and manage external tax filings.
• Assist in the rollout of the Group’s tax digitalisation initiatives and coordinate implementation with local entities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional tax certification (e.g., CPA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in local tax compliance, advisory, or related tax functions.
