About the role
Barilla is seeking a motivated Junior Field Sales Representative to join its commercial team in Novara. You will work closely with trade and sales colleagues to grow retail store sales, manage customer relationships at the store level, and help deliver Barilla’s sales strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Implement the field sales strategy in stores, achieving volume and net‑sales targets for assigned points of sale.
- Execute in‑store promotional plans, sales activities and new product launches according to Barilla’s blueprint.
- Ensure optimal shelf allocation and visibility of the Barilla product portfolio.
- Strengthen relationships with customers, understand shopper needs, present new products and provide market insights to sales leadership.
- Innovate and improve sales processes to meet mutual sales goals.
Required profile
- University degree in Economics, Trade Marketing, Business Management, Data Analytics or a related field.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Tech‑savvy mindset with curiosity for market trends.
- Proactive, determined and able to work independently to meet targets.
- Valid B driving licence held for at least 36 months.
- Previous experience in trade or sales is a plus.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
