Legal Counsel Intern – M&A & Corporate Law

About the role

The Legal Counsel Intern will support Arsenale’s M&A transactions and international projects, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. Working within a dynamic, multinational environment, the intern will gain hands‑on experience drafting and reviewing legal documents in both Italian and English.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting documentation for share acquisitions, disposals, business unit sales, leases, joint ventures, strategic partnerships and shareholder agreements.
• Support pre‑ and post‑closing activities, including preparation of closing agendas and monitoring of conditions precedent.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary and international teams involved in complex transactions.
• Help draft corporate documentation and manage shareholder relationships, monitoring obligations under shareholder agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on current and strategic business initiatives.
• Monitor international legal developments relevant to the Group’s activities.
• Assist in managing external legal advisors and consultants, coordinating their work when required.

Required profile

• Law degree (LL.B or equivalent).
• Academic or internship experience in law firms or corporate legal departments (preferred).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong interest in corporate, M&A and finance matters.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, international setting.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with good communication skills.
• Interest in corporate governance and legal compliance.
