About the role
Alma is looking for a Mid‑Market Account Executive to drive growth in Italy. Based in Milan, you will work closely with local merchants and international teams to expand the adoption of Alma’s instalment and deferred‑payment solutions across the market.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends in the Italian fintech landscape.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans that align with Alma’s revenue targets.
- Analyse competitors, assess risks, and propose tailored solutions to meet client objectives.
- Generate leads, build a robust sales pipeline, and close contracts that support company goals.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to craft compelling proposals and presentations.
- Identify and nurture strategic partnerships; represent Alma at industry events and conferences.
- Prepare regular performance reports for senior management and adjust strategies as needed.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development or a related role, preferably in a fast‑growing tech or SaaS environment.
- Native Italian speaker with fluency in English.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Solid understanding of European market dynamics, especially in Italy.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
