Primary Teacher – St. Louis School (Colonna Campus)

About the role

Inspired Education Group is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher for the St. Louis School Colonna Campus in Italy. You will inspire Key Stage 2 learners, foster critical thinking, and prepare them for a smooth transition to secondary education within a supportive, inquiry‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Model and promote the school’s mission, values and Positive Behaviour Policy to create an inclusive learning culture.
• Deliver engaging, inquiry‑based lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and the Inspired Education ethos.
• Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress, inform planning and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues across year groups to ensure continuity, progression and consistency in teaching and learning.
• Participate in professional learning, contribute to curriculum development and support whole‑school improvement initiatives.
• Lead or assist with clubs, events, and school projects that enrich the wider learning experience.

Required profile

• University degree in Education or a related subject with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching primary years, especially Key Stage 2.
• Strong understanding of literacy, numeracy and cross‑curricular learning.
• Ability to use assessment data effectively to drive student progress.
• Enthusiastic, reflective and passionate about inspiring independent, confident learners.
• Collaborative, innovative and eager to contribute to an international school community.
