Senior Project Manager – Power Generation (Italy)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, sales‑driven power generation projects across Italy. You will work closely with sales, engineering, finance and operations to deliver projects on time, on scope and on budget while ensuring customer commitments are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple high‑complexity projects from initiation through delivery, aligning with defined business outcomes.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams and external stakeholders to scope projects, set objectives and define measurable performance goals.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones and budgets.
• Identify, assess and proactively manage project risks and issues using structured tools.
• Interpret financial indicators to support decision‑making and protect project performance.
• Communicate status, risks and dependencies to sponsors and stakeholders, tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
• Leverage cross‑functional and external resources, sharing best practices and lessons learned.
• Coach and support project team members and other Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong project and program management capability with ability to balance scope, schedule, cost and resources.
• Proven experience managing complexity, resolving conflict and driving structured problem solving in fast‑paced sales environments.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• Leadership experience managing a local team of Project Managers and Commissioning Technicians.
• College or university degree; relevant licensing may be required for export controls.
• Significant experience delivering and installing Gensets and Balance of Plant solutions, including data‑center environments.
• Engineering background with knowledge of procedures, standards and structured problem‑solving methodologies.
• Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
