Area Marketing Finance Analyst

About the role

Mastercard is seeking an Area Marketing Finance Analyst to manage accounting and financial administration for its marketing activities. The role ensures accurate expense tracking, fund allocation, and compliance across multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting for all marketing expenses, including contract processing, invoicing, and reporting to Finance.
• Monitor planning, usage, allocation, and reporting of funds, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate directly with agencies, internal customers, and service providers.
• Oversee administrative processes such as purchase order creation and proper expense classification.
• Conduct cost benchmarking among suppliers and recommend cost‑saving solutions.
• Perform data‑privacy and legal compliance checks on policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in budget management and financial control.
• Strong communication and commercial skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
• Analytical, structured, and results‑oriented mindset.
• Effective problem‑solver who can work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent planning and multitasking abilities.
• Fluent in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or a related field.
