Associate Corporate Counsel – AWS Legal (EMEA)

About the role

Amazon's Legal Department is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Web Services (AWS) across the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, with a primary focus on Italy and Southern Europe. The role combines strategic contract work with regulatory guidance for a fast‑growing cloud business.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and advise on technology service agreements with enterprise, public‑sector customers and partners.
• Provide legal counsel on product development, security, compliance, data protection and public‑policy matters.
• Support senior executives and cross‑functional teams with regulatory interpretation and guidance.
• Manage legal issues arising from existing relationships and respond to customer and partner inquiries.
• Collaborate with EMEA legal colleagues on multi‑country deal structures and serve as lead counsel on strategic sales transactions.
• Drive AI‑enabled improvements to legal operations, such as contract review automation and advanced research tools.
