Compliance Officer – Italy

About the role

Swan.io is looking for a Compliance Officer based in Italy to join its compliance team. You will help ensure that Swan’s banking and payment services stay aligned with Italian regulatory requirements while supporting the launch of new products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and implement regulatory changes affecting Swan’s operations in Italy.
• Assist the AMLRO with the preparation and submission of regulatory documents.
• Act as the escalation point for investigations conducted by Compliance Managers.
• Analyse regulatory aspects of business use cases, new products and services.
• Maintain internal compliance documentation and ensure its accuracy.
• Conduct regulatory watch on Italian banking supervision matters.
• Serve as the primary contact for Italian regulatory bodies such as Banca d’Italia and UIF.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in a compliance role within the financial sector.
• Strong understanding of Italian banking and AML regulations.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
