Legal Counsel (Transactional)

About the role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel (Transactional) to independently own the drafting, negotiation and strategic alignment of key commercial agreements across all of Satispay’s business lines. The role sits at the intersection of law, business and technology, supporting the company’s fast‑growing fintech operations in Italy.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex B2B agreements, including employer and merchant contracts for corporate welfare and payment services.
• Advise on and negotiate SaaS, technology, procurement and supplier contracts that keep the platform running smoothly.
• Partner with the Tender Manager on corporate welfare tenders, reviewing and negotiating contract and tender documentation.
• Support marketing and advertising initiatives by drafting and negotiating co‑branding, agency and media agreements.
• Lead the improvement of contract templates, legal processes and negotiation automation in collaboration with the AI team.

Required profile

• Law degree with at least 8 years of experience in commercial law, complex B2B contracts and transactional matters, preferably in law firms and in‑house settings.
• Experience in fast‑growing, tech‑driven businesses such as fintech or corporate welfare is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions autonomously, prioritize effectively and balance legal risk with business growth.
• Strong negotiation skills in high‑pressure situations and a pragmatic commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑influencing abilities, with fluency in English and Italian.
• Enthusiasm for digital and AI‑enabled legal tools to optimise processes.
