IT Blockchain & Digital Assets Consultant – Advisory

About the role

PwC’s Advisory practice is seeking a Tech Consultant specialized in Blockchain and Digital Assets. You will work with leading financial services firms and fintech innovators to design, develop, and implement enterprise‑grade DLT solutions and digital‑asset platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Define target architectures and evolution road‑maps for blockchain‑based platforms, focusing on web and server‑side solutions.
• Develop and deliver full‑stack components, including backend, frontend, and integrations with third‑party providers.
• Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects in the blockchain and DLT space, from scope definition to delivery.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Prepare technical documentation and tender specifications (RFPs).
• Monitor emerging trends in Web3, DeFi, and asset tokenisation and assess their practical applications.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing and applied research within the Competence Center.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in IT or technology projects.
• Basic knowledge of blockchain technologies and platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or Corda.
• Understanding of core blockchain concepts, including smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and the UTXO model.
• Familiarity with smart‑contract development or review (e.g., Solidity) and key security principles.
• Experience with integration methods, terminal/CLI tools, and full‑stack application architectures.
