Junior Software Engineer

About the role

Prima is looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to help shape the future of motor insurance. You will join a fast‑growing engineering team that builds data‑driven services, scalable pipelines and reliable micro‑services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core systems, including ML‑driven services and data pipelines.
• Design, build, and monitor scalable micro‑services and data ingestion workflows.
• Participate in the full engineering lifecycle from data exploration and model development to production deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with teammates, experiment with new technologies, and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability and quick learning mindset.
• Passion for data, software development and machine learning.
• Motivation to build end‑to‑end systems and learn from senior engineers.
• Interest in clean, maintainable code and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Data manipulation with pandas.
• Machine‑learning libraries such as scikit‑learn and mlflow.
• Experience or familiarity with distributed data tools like Spark.
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
