Onsite Project Manager – Semiconductor Materials Handling

About the role

FlexLink is seeking an Onsite Project Manager to lead the execution of a cutting‑edge material handling system for the semiconductor industry. Based in Bologna with regular presence at the customer site in Sicily, you will act as the operational bridge between onsite teams and central functions, ensuring the project moves from concept to reality.

Key responsibilities

• Attend customer and onsite coordination meetings as the primary point of contact for installation teams and subcontractors.
• Monitor daily installation progress, report deviations, and trigger timely escalations.
• Track material availability, update delivery priorities, and align installation planning with supply‑chain readiness.
• Monitor onsite resources, tools, and equipment, and coordinate additional shifts when needed.
• Maintain and update the project Gantt chart daily using Microsoft Project and provide structured reporting to the PMO.

Required profile

• Proven experience in onsite project coordination within industrial or high‑tech environments.
• Strong ability to communicate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, supply chain, and subcontractors.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on accurate information flow and issue escalation.
