Turnaround Finance Manager – Advisory

About the role

Join PwC's Turnaround Management practice in Milan as a Manager focused on finance advisory. You will help clients navigate crises, improve performance, and secure the right capital to achieve their strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial restructuring projects, including balance‑sheet and income‑statement redesign.
• Manage cash‑flow in distressed situations and develop short‑term cash‑forecasting tools.
• Advise on capital‑management strategies and stakeholder communication.
• Generate and develop commercial opportunities together with the senior Italian Turnaround team.
• Potentially assume temporary client‑management positions to drive implementation.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in restructuring, performance improvement, transaction advisory, and financial/operational due diligence.
• Strong advisory background, preferably at an international consulting firm supporting private equity and corporates.
• Proven track record in leading financial restructuring processes in Italy.
• Ability to review and redesign internal processes within complex organisations.
• Well‑developed network across the Italian financial community, including corporates and private equity.
