Account Executive – Italy (m/f/d)

About the role

Shopware is a leading e‑commerce platform seeking an Account Executive for the Italian market. You will join the New Business team and be responsible for driving new business growth, managing the full sales cycle, and building lasting relationships with prospective customers.

Key responsibilities

• Own the sales process from qualified opportunity to close, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Identify, engage, and negotiate with key stakeholders and decision‑makers in complex B2B environments.
• Maintain and forecast a robust pipeline, taking ownership of revenue targets.
• Collaborate closely with Sales Development, Marketing, Partner Management, and other internal teams.
• Provide market and customer insights to improve product positioning and go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in B2B software sales with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles from qualification through negotiation to closing.
• Deep understanding of the Italian market and strong relationship‑building skills.
• Data‑driven, structured approach to sales with confidence using CRM tools.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
