Account Manager - Additives

About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to accelerate the growth of our specialty chemicals business across Europe. The role focuses on selling and developing business for additives used in polymer, rubber, and elastomer applications, serving compounders, converters, manufacturers, and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for assigned European territories and accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in polymer, rubber, and elastomer markets.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with purchasing, technical, R&D, manufacturing, and executive stakeholders.
• Promote a portfolio of specialty additives and performance‑enhancing solutions.
• Expand existing customer relationships to increase wallet share and retention.
• Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and forecast updates.
• Collaborate with suppliers, product managers, and technical specialists to position products effectively.
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging technologies.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and prepare regular sales performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of commercial experience in specialty chemicals, polymers, rubber, additives, or related industries.
• Proven success in B2B technical sales and account management.
• Strong commercial acumen combined with technical knowledge of polymers and rubber manufacturing.
