Accountant – Finance Team, Rome

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team in the heart of Rome. You will ensure that all accounting processes and procedures are completed efficiently and accurately, adding significant value to our local business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage active and passive invoicing processes.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries (First Note).
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure total financial accuracy.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision‑making.
• Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and financial policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management.
• Assist with day‑to‑day operations, including credit control and revenue reporting.
• Oversee the accounts receivable and payable cycles.

Required profile

• High level of business acumen and impeccable honesty.
• Excellent communication and motivational skills.
• Creative, innovative and digitally savvy.
• Strong commercial sense and commitment to legal compliance.
• Eligible to work in the EU.

Required skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a comparable role.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite.
