Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role

The Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and supports daily financial operations, handling medium‑complexity issues and escalating higher‑complexity matters. The role also prepares monthly financial statements, including profit and loss reports and balance sheets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accounts receivable and document related invoices and supporting paperwork.
• Manage accounts payable, ensuring timely invoice payments, validating debts, and obtaining required approvals.
• Update financial records using accounting software.
• Collect payroll expenses and record them accurately.
• Analyze financial statements and assist with cash‑flow assessments.

Required profile

• Experience with accounting software and data entry.
• Strong knowledge of Italian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (ITA GAAP).
• Understanding of IAS/IFRS, VAT and tax regulations.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Fluent in English and Italian; legal right to work in Italy.
