Accounting Specialist – Invoices (Passive/Active)

About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join a leading international fashion company in Milan on a permanent, direct‑employment basis. The role works closely with the Accounting Manager and Finance team, handling the full accounting cycle for selected EU entities and supporting statutory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting process from journal entries to trial balance.
• Perform monthly and year‑end closings, including adjustments, depreciation, amortisation and reconciliations.
• Provide data and documentation to local consultants for timely statutory and fiscal reporting (returns, declarations, local GAAP financial statements).
• Support internal and external audits and respond to requests from the Group finance function.
• Collaborate with other departments on accounting‑related topics.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics or a related field.
• Approximately 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility when working with diverse stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy, reliability and attention to detail.
• Professional attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good level of English and fluent Italian; additional European languages are a plus.
• Immediate availability is an advantage.
