Accounting Specialist

About the role

Wolford is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support its Finance department in Milan. The role will ensure accurate bookkeeping for subsidiaries, manage month‑end closing, and assist in the preparation of individual and consolidated financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely bookkeeping for Wolford subsidiaries.
• Execute monthly closing, balance‑sheet reconciliation, general‑ledger, payroll, and accounts‑payable bookings.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and support tax issues with external consultants.
• Assist in preparing financial statements according to local GAAP.
• Collaborate with internal departments, external authorities, and tax consultants.
• Respond to ad‑hoc requests from the Group Finance department.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in multinational companies.
• Strong communication, accuracy, reliability and professional attitude.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional European language a plus.
• Immediate availability is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
