Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Specialist to join Wolford’s Finance department in Milan. The role supports the subsidiaries’ bookkeeping, month‑end closing and the preparation of both individual and consolidated financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping for Wolford subsidiaries in accordance with local GAAP.
• Execute monthly closing activities, balance‑sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.
• Post general‑ledger, payroll and accounts‑payable entries.
• Prepare individual and consolidated financial statements.
• Handle tax matters independently, coordinating with external consultants.
• Collaborate with internal departments, the Group Finance team and external authorities on ad‑hoc requests.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong communication skills in English and Italian; additional European language a plus.
• High accuracy, reliability and a proactive attitude.
• Immediate availability is advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
