Accounts Receivable Specialist (Hotel Pre-Opening)

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the finance team of Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection hotel in Milan, during its pre‑opening phase. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will help build the accounts receivable function from the ground up, implementing local SOPs in line with Marriott International policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process all invoices with the required supporting documentation accurately and on time.
• Liaise with Reservation, Sales and Food & Beverage departments to resolve disputed accounts.
• Post, reconcile and monitor accounts receivable balances.
• Maintain up‑to‑date financial records and ensure data security.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities and prepare related reports.

Required profile

• Strong affinity for numbers and financial reporting.
• Comfortable working with Excel and handling large data sets.
• People‑oriented, able to interact effectively with multiple hotel departments.
• Detail‑focused and able to work under the fast‑paced environment of a hotel front‑of‑house.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel
• Fundamental knowledge of accounts receivable processes
• Basic accounting and reconciliation skills
