Apprentice Component Engineer – Power Transformers

About the role

Join Siemens Energy as an Apprentice Component Engineer in our Power Transformer factory in Trento. You will follow a structured apprenticeship program, work alongside a dedicated mentor, and gain hands‑on experience in proposal engineering for advanced transformer solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse customer requests to produce preliminary electrical designs.
• Create and maintain all required technical documentation for proposals.
• Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, promoting solutions effectively.
• Develop competitive, market‑driven solutions that meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to generate accurate cost estimates and technical specifications.
• Participate in national and occasional international business trips.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in component engineering, electrical design, or a similar role, preferably in power generation or transformer industry.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• Target‑oriented, proactive, autonomous and able to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel for business as needed.
