Apprentice Field Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for an Apprentice Field Service Technician to support the Army Recreation Machine Program (ARMP). The role involves handling cash collections, maintaining gaming and non‑gaming equipment, and assisting with network installations across various field locations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect cash from gaming and non‑gaming machines using data collection devices or handwritten forms.
• Perform Automated Cash Machine (ACM) count‑downs, fills, and record all coin and currency counts in the presence of a location representative.
• Verify, process and authorize jackpot payments and prepare required documentation.
• Clean, troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs on gaming equipment, ACMs, card dispensers and related peripherals.
• Upgrade and install game conversion kits on existing equipment.
• Assist with installation, support and maintenance of ARMP‑operated FIS and PIS networks.
• Move and install field operation equipment and act as liaison between internal departments and external agencies.
• Complete all required paperwork and ensure data uploads are accurate.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen, valid U.S. passport, at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of background checks including CNACI.
• Willingness to work irregular schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Pass a pre‑employment physical and agree to a one‑year probationary period.
• Male applicants born after 31 December 1959 must complete Selective Service registration.
