Architectural Design Internship

About the role

RINA is seeking a motivated Architecture Intern to join its Civil Engineering Division in Genoa. The intern will assist senior architects in developing medium to high‑complexity projects, applying creative design and technical expertise across all project phases.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation of architectural concepts aligned with client needs, technical constraints, and sustainability goals.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to integrate structural, MEP, and performance requirements.
• Assist in project planning, including scope definition, timelines, and design deliverables.
• Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and international standards.
• Produce and manage technical drawings, BIM models, presentations, and project documentation.
• Provide design input during construction, helping resolve technical issues and maintain design intent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Proficiency with design software such as 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Suite.
• Knowledge of BIM processes and tools.
• Understanding of building codes, construction methods, and technical standards.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams with strong organizational skills.
