Area Business Developer – Solar Solutions

About the role

TCL SunPower Global is looking for an Area Business Developer to lead the growth of its TCL Solar brand across a designated region in Italy. You will work closely with installers, distributors and local partners to expand the sales network and capture new market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Build and expand TCL Solar’s local sales network in the assigned Italian region.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with installers, distributors and local business partners.
• Identify, develop and follow up new business opportunities for TCL Solar and its distributors.
• Support distributors in promoting TCL Solar products and expanding their customer base.
• Collaborate with installers to understand market demand, project opportunities and product application needs.
• Collect and analyse regional market intelligence, including competitor activities and pricing trends.
• Contribute to sales reporting, forecasting and opportunity tracking.
• Travel within the region to visit installers, distributors, partners and project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented individual comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment.
• Proven ability to form new relationships and develop existing partner networks.
• Strong leadership and detail‑oriented execution skills.
• Interest or experience in business development, channel sales or regional sales development.

Required skills

• Knowledge of solar photovoltaic (PV) technology.
