Assistant 2nd Floor Housekeeper – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The St. Regis Florence is seeking a dedicated Assistant 2nd Floor Housekeeper to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, public areas, and pool facilities. You will work closely with housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry teams to coordinate daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect cleaned rooms and public spaces to verify quality standards.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, and prioritize cleaning tasks.
• Communicate room‑assignment changes and discrepancies to the next shift and front desk.
• Assist housekeeping management with hiring, training, scheduling, and performance coaching.
• Maintain safety, security, and uniform standards, reporting any hazards or incidents.
• Provide courteous guest service, including assistance for guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related housekeeping experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lb unaided and heavier loads with assistance.
• Physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency for entering and retrieving work‑related information.
