Assistant Concierge

About the role

The Assistant Concierge supports guests at Hotel Cala di Volpe by providing information, handling requests, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout their stay. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with the front desk, bell staff, housekeeping and other departments to meet guest needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supply guests with directions, property amenities, service hours and local area information.
• Contact appropriate departments (bellperson, front desk, housekeeping, engineering, security) to resolve guest calls, requests or problems.
• Follow up with guests to confirm satisfaction with resolutions.
• Receive, record and relay messages accurately.
• Handle special requests from guests with unique needs.
• Communicate VIP arrivals to designated personnel for escort and amenity delivery.
• Adhere to company policies, report safety issues and maintain a professional appearance.
• Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Identify and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, quality or cost‑savings.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking and lifting objects up to 10 lb.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in a hospitality environment.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Capability to stand, walk and lift up to 10 lb for extended periods.
