Assistant Concierge – Night Shift

About the role

The Assistant Concierge supports the Concierge team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Aman Venice, a luxury hotel located on the Grand Canal. Working primarily during night shifts, you will handle guest requests, manage communications, and ensure seamless service continuity when the Concierge is unavailable.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nightly auditing and reconcile daily transactions.
• Welcome guests at check‑in and bid farewell at check‑out.
• Respond to all incoming guest emails, calls, and messages, especially when the Concierge is absent.
• Assist with luggage, parcel handling, and guest arrivals/departures at the hotel pier.
• Arrange external activities such as taxi reservations, gondola tours, restaurant bookings, theatre tickets, and museum passes.
• Collect purchases, buy tickets, and fulfill any guest item requests.
• Organise and manage taxis and transfers for guests.
• Maintain uniform standards, punctuality, and grooming in line with hotel policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role within 5‑star or international hotels.
• Fluent spoken and written Italian and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, proactive guest interaction, and strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Opera Cloud.
