AWP Engineer (Construction)

About the role

The AWP Construction Engineer works closely with the AWP Champion or Group Leader to implement the Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology across international EPC projects. The role supports project and site teams throughout all phases and requires readiness for temporary relocation abroad.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in defining the Project AWP plan together with the AWP Champion.
• Develop the Path of Construction and Construction Schedule, updating the related action list.
• Prepare and consolidate AWP documentation, gathering inputs from all technical disciplines.
• Set up and manage AWP tools for the assigned project(s) and ensure proper information flow for EWP and PWP.
• Assist the AWP Champion/Group Leader in monitoring AWP implementation against the Project Plan.
• Support continuous improvement of AWP practices and procedures.
• When on‑site, implement the AWP methodology under the coordination of the Site Manager and Construction Manager.
• Ensure that subcontractor‑produced IWP data is reported accurately to Project Control.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Good command of English; additional foreign language is a plus.
• Knowledge of multidisciplinary EPC activities and oil & gas construction sequences.
• Willingness to be temporarily relocated abroad as project demands.

Required skills

• Experience in EPC projects.
• Background as Project Engineer, Construction Engineer or Planning Engineer on international projects.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience (preferred).
