Backend Software Engineer (L.68/99)

About the role

As a Backend Software Engineer you will help shape the future of digital payments at Satispay, designing and building scalable, high‑quality systems for millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full story lifecycle from intake to production release, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Conduct technical analysis for standard scope stories and implement robust, scalable back‑end solutions.
• Accurately estimate effort, resolve blockers promptly, and participate in incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Required profile

• Problem‑solver with a strong desire to learn, take ownership, and collaborate across teams.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience with Java and a basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus).
• Structured communication skills, able to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
• User‑focused mindset, ensuring back‑end systems support great user experiences.
• Passion for FinTech or startup environments and fluency in English.
