Backend Software Engineer (Node.js/TypeScript)

About the role

TXT e-Tech, part of the TXT Group, is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance back‑end services. You will work with JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js to create robust APIs and micro‑service architectures that power web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable back‑end services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, implement and document RESTful APIs and micro‑service components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define new features and integrate them into existing systems.
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues to ensure high system availability.
• Stay current with emerging back‑end technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience developing APIs and integrating external services.
• Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
