Business Controller – Finance Business Partner

About the role

The Business Controller will act as a Finance Business Partner for North Sails Apparel, supporting budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and management reporting. The role provides financial insight, monitors key performance trends and helps drive sustainable growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with assigned business functions to provide financial guidance and support strategic and operational decisions.
• Monitor budgets, evaluate investments and identify opportunities to improve financial performance.
• Support the annual budget, periodic forecasts and long‑range planning processes.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Track financial performance against budget and forecast, flag variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop ad‑hoc analyses, financial models and business cases for initiatives.
• Monitor key business and financial KPIs, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.
• Assist month‑end and year‑end closing from a controlling perspective, collaborating with Accounting.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting tools, dashboards and controlling processes.
