Business Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Business Controller to support financial planning and controlling activities for a leading cosmetics company. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will ensure accurate reporting, perform business analysis, and provide cross‑functional support to improve performance and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual closing, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and enhance management reporting and profitability analyses to aid decision‑making.
• Conduct variance and ad‑hoc financial analyses, delivering actionable recommendations.
• Support financial evaluation of investments and cost‑optimization initiatives.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards in collaboration with headquarters, including AI‑related tools.
• Participate in process improvement and system development projects.
• Control costs across G&A, logistics, and CAPEX.
• Partner with internal departments such as Sales on budgeting, forecasting, and customer‑related analyses.
• Prepare KPI reporting and performance analyses, including P&L and customer profitability.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in controlling, preferably within FMCG or consumer goods.
• Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of financial and business processes.
• Structured, reliable, autonomous working style with strong team spirit.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
• Hands‑on, proactive, results‑oriented mindset.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, including visits to headquarters.
