Business Development Manager - Bergamo

About the role

Deliveroo is looking for a Business Development Manager based in Bergamo. As a founding member of a growing, well-funded company, you will join the regional sales team and report to the Sales Lead, focusing on building new relationships with restaurants and stores. The role sits within the restaurant and retail sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process in the assigned territory: mapping the area, prospecting, negotiating and closing contracts, becoming an expert on local trends and brands.
• Support partners through onboarding, ensuring a smooth start on the platform.
• Promote the value of Deliveroo's technology to restaurateurs through field visits, calls, email and social contacts.
• Handle objections and help restaurant owners overcome hesitations.
• Represent the company at events, meet-ups and trade fairs.

Required profile

• Strong commercial attitude and solid experience in sales/business development (B2B).
• Excellent communication and relationship skills, with experience managing clients face-to-face and remotely by phone and email.
• Ability to present digital products and solutions and highlight their added value.
• Strong negotiation skills and results orientation.
• Determination, persistence and resilience.
• Knowledge of the restaurant and HoReCa sector is a strong plus.

What we offer

• Total target compensation (OTE) of 35,200 to 44,000 EUR gross per year, depending on performance targets.
• Base salary of 17,200 to 26,000 EUR gross per year, under the Commercio e Terziario collective agreement, level 4.
