Business Development Manager – EMEA (CPI Markets)

About the role
Rotork is looking for a technically strong, commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across Chemical, Process & Industrial (CPI) markets in EMEA. Reporting to the Head of Strategy for the EMEA CPI team, you will work in a collaborative matrix environment, partnering with regional sales, product managers and senior leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Drive growth strategies across key CPI segments including chemical, HVAC, mining, marine and data‑centre cooling.
- Identify and pursue new projects at feasibility and design stages, influencing end‑user and EPC specifications.
- Build strong relationships across the CPI value chain: OEMs, EPCs, contractors and end users.
- Work closely with regional sales teams, product management and engineering to shape product roadmaps and go‑to‑market plans.
- Provide market intelligence, competitive insight and customer feedback to guide commercial decisions.
- Support new product introductions, campaigns and key industry events.
- Spot partnership or M&A opportunities that strengthen Rotork’s market position.
Required profile
- Proven business development and sales experience in the process, automation or industrial sectors.
- Strong technical understanding of flow control solutions and ability to translate customer needs into value propositions.
- Confident communicator able to influence at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with commercial acumen and a proactive, self‑driven approach.
- Skilled in building relationships, negotiating and delivering customer‑focused outcomes.
- Excellent written communication and strong presentation skills.
