Business Development Manager – Logistics & Freight

About the role

JAS, a global supply chain services provider, is looking for a Business Development Manager to expand its market presence and drive revenue growth across its logistics and freight forwarding portfolio. The role combines strategic sales planning with hands‑on customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market data and design sales strategies to increase the customer base.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of JAS’s air, ocean, and land freight services.
• Travel throughout the assigned territory to meet existing and prospective clients.
• Build and sustain strong business relationships with customers.
• Prepare pricing proposals, credit terms, and sales contracts.
• Produce activity reports and sales plans for the territory.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s Sales Policy.

Required profile

• College degree preferred.
• 5+ years of successful sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics or transportation.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Self‑motivated, capable of working both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
