Buyer Internship – Procurement & Sourcing

About the role

The Buyer Internship offers a hands‑on introduction to the purchasing function within a global automotive leader. Working side‑by‑side with senior buyers, you will support the end‑to‑end sourcing process, from request for quotation (RFQ) preparation to supplier performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and managing RFQs for various components and services.
• Collect, analyse and compare supplier quotations and cost data.
• Support supplier evaluation, selection and sourcing recommendations.
• Help draft contracts and purchasing documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics such as cost, quality and delivery.
• Perform administrative tasks including purchase order creation, reporting and presentation preparation.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Economics, Engineering, Law or a related field.
• Proficiency in English (C1 level) and strong interest in procurement and automotive technologies.
• Proactive, results‑driven attitude with good analytical and organisational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
