C# Software Developer – Desktop Applications

About the role

Datacolor is seeking a skilled C# Software Developer to design, build, and maintain desktop applications that support its colour‑management instruments. You will work on both new features and existing code, ensuring a high‑quality user interface and reliable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET desktop applications.
• Read, understand, and debug existing codebases, including instrument APIs written in C++.
• Collaborate with internal support teams and external clients to gather requirements and act as product owner when needed.
• Estimate development effort, track progress, and meet project deadlines.
• Maintain installers, software packages, and contribute to automated testing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience developing industrial software for technical environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and code‑quality mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C# and C++.
• Experience with .NET Framework, WinForms, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Server and Git version control.
• Knowledge of AWS (optional) and ability to create and maintain installers.
• Experience building user‑friendly GUIs.
