CAD Designer & Technical Coordinator I

About the role

Balich Wonder Studio, an integrated entertainment group that produces live experiences worldwide, is looking for a CAD Designer & Technical Coordinator I for its Milan headquarters. The role supports the production and coordination of technical drawings and models (2D and 3D) across tender, production and onsite phases, under the guidance of Senior Designers, the Head of Productions and Project Managers. It applies BWS drawing standards, file management procedures and coordination workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Produce 2D drawings (plans, sections, elevations, details, layouts) and support 3D models, updating them according to feedback from Senior Designers and Project Managers
• Apply BWS templates, graphic standards, naming conventions and version control, and maintain project drawing archives
• Coordinate with freelancers and collaborators on file exchange and document updates
• Support technical coordination, flagging inconsistencies and missing information to senior team members
• Help prepare concept drawings and tender documentation for scenic elements, temporary venues and layouts
• Support Production and Site Managers in updating site plans and reviewing vendor drawings
• Organize meetings, document technical updates and share design and technical documentation correctly

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience
• Fluent or medium Italian and good or fluent English
• Experience in event production or creative studios is a plus
• Ability to adapt to different project types, manage relations with external collaborators and travel internationally when needed

Required skills

• Excellent use of AutoCAD
• At least one 3D modelling software (Cinema4D or Rhino preferred)
• Rendering skills appreciated
• Working knowledge of BIM packages (Revit or Navisworks)
• Use of the Office package
