Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Italy

About the role

Dahua Technology Italy is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its Finance and Accounting function. Reporting to senior management, the CFO will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight for the Italian business.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting accuracy, monthly/quarterly/annual closing, and financial reporting.
• Review key journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and statutory financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with Italian accounting standards, VAT, tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Lead the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and manage external audits.
• Coordinate external accountants, tax advisors, auditors, and other financial partners.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, profitability, and key variances.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable/payable, and financial risks.
• Review and improve internal controls, approval procedures, and finance processes.
• Identify accounting, tax, and financial risks and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and lead the local Finance team, ensuring timely and high‑quality deliverables.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including senior leadership roles such as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles, VAT, taxation, and statutory reporting.
• Proven experience in financial closing, statutory statements, and audit management.
• Extensive background in budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and financial analysis.
• Hands‑on accounting and financial review capabilities with a focus on risk identification and resolution.
• Experience in a multinational or international company is strongly preferred.
• Fluent in Italian and professional proficiency in English.
