Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Global Operations

About the role

Our client, a global leader in high‑tech solutions for industrial, medical and aerospace markets, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to drive operational excellence across its worldwide footprint. Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will translate strategic vision into day‑to‑day execution, ensuring the company scales efficiently in the IoT and AI‑driven sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee global manufacturing, supply‑chain and product‑development operations to guarantee timely delivery of embedded systems and IoT solutions.
• Convert the Board’s long‑term vision into actionable operational plans aligned with market demand.
• Define, monitor and act on KPIs that improve productivity, cost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain rigorous quality and regulatory compliance for aerospace and medical certifications.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration between engineering, sales and corporate functions.
• Manage operational aspects of mergers, acquisitions and the launch of new international subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience (COO or equivalent) in technology, electronics or industrial automation.
• Deep understanding of IoT and AI trends and their impact on manufacturing.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary, international teams.
• Strong financial acumen with data‑driven decision‑making.
• Commitment to innovation, sustainability and ethical business practices.
